AI Chat VaultTerms of use
These terms apply to the AI Chat Vault browser extension and this website, provided by Manhar Anand, an individual developer based in India ("I", "me"). By installing or using the extension, you agree to them.
Using the extension
You may use AI Chat Vault to export, save, search and organise your own conversations and prompts. You are responsible for how you use exported content, and for following the terms of the services you export from, including those of OpenAI and Anthropic.
You may not resell the extension, remove its license checks, or share Pro license keys publicly.
Free and Pro
The free version includes a daily export limit. Pro removes that limit and adds the features listed on the home page. Features marked "coming" are planned but not guaranteed by a specific date.
- Lifetime: one payment gives Pro for as long as the extension is available, including updates.
- Monthly: Pro stays active while your subscription is paid. You can cancel anytime, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- One license may be activated in up to 3 browsers for your personal use.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as the merchant of record, and its terms also apply to your purchase. Prices include or add taxes as shown at checkout. Refunds follow the refund policy.
Not affiliated
AI Chat Vault is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI or Anthropic. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
Changes to the websites it supports
The extension reads conversations from chatgpt.com and claude.ai, which can change without notice. If a change stops an export from working, the extension tells you rather than exporting incomplete data, and I aim to release a fix quickly. I cannot guarantee that support for any website will continue.
Your data
Your data stays on your computer, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping backups. The extension provides a one-click backup in Settings.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. I do not promise it will be error-free or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for AI Chat Vault in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If you keep using the extension after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
